Information We Collect
When you create a Yorker account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials via Clerk, our authentication provider. When you use the platform, we collect monitor configurations, check results, and usage metrics necessary to deliver the service.
We automatically collect standard web analytics data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited to improve the service. We use PostHog for product analytics.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the Yorker synthetic monitoring service
- Execute your configured monitors and deliver check results
- Send alerts and notifications you have configured
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Improve the platform based on usage patterns
- Communicate service updates and security notices
Data Retention
Check results and telemetry data are retained according to your plan limits. Screenshots from browser checks are stored in Cloudflare R2 and retained for the duration specified by your plan.
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics.

Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your monitor configurations at any time via the CLI. To request data deletion or exercise other rights, contact us at the address below.
If you are located in the UK or EEA, you have additional rights under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
